If we have a multi-period
boat group then why not look at living history camping in the same way.
Up to some time in the 18th
century perhaps rough camping on campaign or while pioneering was much the same
as it was in the paeolithic period and afterwards.
We can enjoy camping
together and in the camp could be practitioners of any period but it wouldn’t matter
because the similarity of the way of life and the pleasure from the camp fire
is more than whether someone is using stone, bronze or iron.
This is not for a public
show but for ourselves.
